It's the most wonderful time of the year, and there are plenty of new shows to watch this week on Netflix, Prime Video, and other streaming services, as well as on broadcast and cable TV.

New shows this week include the series finale of "The Crown" and "Archer. In Season 2 of "Reacher," the former military megalomaniac vigilante returns to Prime Video, plus there's a new documentary that follows the U.S. women's national team's journey to the World Cup.

Here's our guide to new shows to watch this week, and check out what's new on Netflix.

Netflix has been steadily expanding its sports documentary section. The latest is a series that follows the U.S. women's national team as they prepare for the 2023 FIFA World Cup. As the most crowned team in soccer history, the U.S. women's national team must deal with intense pressure, criticism and doubt, and struggles regarding equal pay. Their journey has been filled with joy, happiness, and hardships, including injuries. [Veterans Alex Morgan and Lindsey Horan, 18-year-old rising star Alyssa Thompson, and World Cup first-timers Savannah DeMello, Lynn Williams, and Christie Mewis are featured.

Long Live the Queen: ...... In Our Memory. As we all know, Queen Elizabeth II died last year after reigning for 70 years. And with her death comes the final chapter in Peter Morgan's fictionalized version of her story.

Part 1 of Season 6 dealt with the tragic death of Princess Diana, and Part 2 will see Prince William (Ed McVey) and Prince Harry (Luther Ford) face their own loss. We also witness the blossoming romance between Will and Kate Middleton (Meg Bellamy) when they meet at the University of St. Andrews.

Morgan has not stated how he will conclude the series, but our guess is that it will continue until 2002, when the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret die and Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee is celebrated.

Premieres on Netflix on Thursday, December 14 at 3:01 am ET

Reunited, it's very ...... It's Complicated. More than a decade after their first appearance on The Real Housewives of New York City, the cast is coming together again for Girl's Trip. Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonya Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Kristen Teckman jet off to St. Barth to return to the infamous house on Saline Beach, aka "Pirate House" that was featured in RHONY season 5! They - and viewers - are in for an unforgettable adventure. [The Ponyo on the Cliff, also known as "Ponyo on the Cliff," is a story about the Ponyo's and their adventures in the cliffs of St. Barths. Lee Childs' book is essentially an anthology, and series creator Nick Santora has indicated that he will adhere to that structure. [Season 2 will adapt the eleventh film, "Bad Luck and Trouble," which involves Reacher in a plot to kill his old friend. Robert Patrick ("Terminator 2") will star as Langston, a former NYPD officer who now works for a defense contractor.

Premieres Friday, December 15 at 12:01 a.m. ET on Prime Video

This BBC co-production was born out of British comedian Cat Sadler's wicked sense of humor. She, along with her own sister Lizzie Davidson and veteran actress Louise Brearley, also star in the series. Josie, Billy, and their single mother, Deb, are tied down by people who don't care about them and live their lives with only judgmental and self-esteem issues. They are vain, narcissistic, selfish, and heavily in debt. Yet they are still trying to crawl toward a better life and the all-consuming love they crave.

Available on Hulu on Friday, December 15 at 0:01 a.m.

The world's greatest spy on a final mission. The long-running animated comedy concludes its 14th season with a series finale event that sends Sterling Archer (H. Jon Benjamin), Lana (Aisha Tyler), Cyril (Chris Parnell), and other characters off into the sunset.

Plot details are thin, but season 14 ended with the CIA learning that the UN has declared all private spy agencies illegal and ordered them to be shut down within 30 days. I have a feeling that something or someone evil will threaten the world within that time frame, and Archer and his team will once again be on the hook to save the day. And they will create a storm.

Premieres Sunday, December 17 at 10 p.m. ET on FX and FXX (via Sling or Fubo). Streaming on Hulu the following day
