Some of the most popular and critically acclaimed programs of the past decade have been miniseries, also known as limited series. Miniseries went out of fashion for a while, but are now making a big comeback again.

The holiday season doesn't leave many people with much extra time, so it's too hard to get your hands on a show with a large number of seasons. Fortunately, Peacock has some great miniseries that can easily be watched in one weekend. Here are our top picks.

The series is based on a true story and unravels the chilling tale of the Broberg family caught up in the machinations of a trusted family friend: in the 1970s, their young daughter Jan (McKenna Grace) is targeted by a man posing as a kind neighbor, Robert Berchtold (Jake Lacey), who is "a man of the world. and faced the horror of being kidnapped not once, but many times by the man who posed as a kind neighbor. The show adapts this story as a disturbing psycho horror series that explores how Robert approached Jan and how her parents Bob (Colin Hanks) and Gail (Rio Tipton) continue to disappoint her at every turn. - BV

Jordan balances his career and love life, and Candace and March redefine their bond as she struggles with her academic pursuits and his reputation. The timing couldn't be better for this sci-fi drama about an artificial intelligence that has achieved god-like status. Creators Tara Hernandez and Damon Lindelof build a world where an AI named Mrs. Davis is respected around the world for its seemingly benevolent and compassionate outlook and seeks to make everyone's life better, think ChatGPT, but, Much smarter and friendlier.

But not everyone is a fan. Simone (Betty Gilpin) is a nun skeptical of technology. Fearing that Mrs. Davis will eventually run amok, she teams up with her ex-boyfriend Wiley (Jake McDorman) on a mission to destroy Mrs. Davis. But they must contend with the AI-obsessed masses.
