Garmin has made a big update to its most popular watch.

Garmin has announced exciting new updates for a variety of devices, including the Enduro 2, epix (Gen 2) series, fēnix 7 series, Forerunner series, and Venu 3 series. With advanced running statistics such as cadence and stride length measurements, and enhanced features such as nap detection and skin temperature measurement, there is much to explore.

For those of you looking to take your Garmin watch to the next level, the Garmin brand has announced innovative updates to enhance the user experience, and the devices that will have free access to the latest updates announced by Garmin include: the Enduro 2, epix (Gen 2) series, fenix 7 series, Forerunner series, and Venu 3 series. There are others, but at the time of this writing, they cannot be found on Garmin's website.

It is unfortunate that the latest updates do not apply to older Garmin models, which unfortunately are not designed with the latest sensor technology for many of the new features listed above.

Users of applicable devices can easily update their smartwatches by enabling automatic updates through their device and syncing with Garmin Connect. They can also use Garmin Express for the update process.

And I'll be trying out some of these new features on my own Garmin watch.
