Taylor Swift The Eras Tour streaming date: When will it be available?

Taylor Swift's all-conquering "The Eras Tour" has been released in theaters as a concert film appropriately titled: The Eras Tour. Filmed over three nights as Swift played six sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the film has been sweeping movie theaters since its release on October 12, 2023.

But what if you wanted to enjoy the film The Eras Tour from the comfort of your own home? After all, you could avoid the screaming crowds and enjoy the three-hour show from the comfort of your own couch. Besides, you can rewind and rewatch your favorite songs at will.

Now you need to know when and where Taylor Swift will be performing live: The Eras Tour is coming to streaming services and video-on-demand. The good news is that The Eras Tour is already on paid video-on-demand services. And we would be shocked if it doesn't eventually make it into at least one of the best streaming services.

So, here's everything you need to know about where and when you might be able to stream Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour online.

So we still don't know Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour will be streaming for free. But if you don't mind paying to watch T-Swift from the comfort of your own home, there's good news: The Eras Tour is now available on paid video-on-demand streaming services.

There is even more good news for diehard Swift fans. This video-on-demand version is an extended cut that adds "Wildest Dreams," "Archer," and "Long Live." The extended cut is available for rent "in the United States, Canada, and other countries" and can be viewed on Apple TV, Vudu, Prime Video, Xfinity, Google Play, and YouTube.

As for which streaming service Swift will use for the free version of the concert footage, it is as yet completely undecided. Swift has a history of partnering with a variety of streaming services over the course of her career; the 1989 World Tour movie was released exclusively on Apple Music (Apple TV Plus had not yet been launched), but the platform's The streaming service is no longer available.

Unfortunately for our guess, Swift changed things with the Reputation Tour movie, which began streaming on Netflix in 2018. Miss Americana, a behind-the-scenes documentary about her peak years, also came to Netflix in early 2020.

But complicating things further, Swift is also producing a documentary for Disney Plus, Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions. This played the entirety of her Grammy-winning album in an imitated setting while providing insight into its production.

Our best guess. Queen of Pop has no allegiance to anyone but herself and would simply choose the streaming service that offers the best terms. Personally, however, I think "The Eras Tour" will eventually be streamed on Disney Plus.

The Eras Tour movie was produced by Swift's in-house production company, Taylor Swift Productions, which is not involved with Miss Americana. However, it is involved with Taylor Swift: City of Lover and Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, which were the last two projects Swift put on streaming services. Both of these films ended up on Disney Plus, and I believe "The Eras Tour" will eventually join them there.

Again, we know that Taylor Swift can already buy or rent: The Eras Tour (Extended Version). But it will cost money - less than it currently costs to see "The Eras Tour" in theaters, and certainly less than a ticket to a live Taylor Swift concert.

But we don't know when it will be available for free on streaming services. And unfortunately, there really is no precedent for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour. This is not like "The Holdovers" or "The Marvels," where there is no historical data that can be used to reach a logical conclusion. Swift's only previous theatrical release was "All to Well": this was a limited release and not one of the biggest films in the world.

However, it is likely that Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour will not be available on streaming services until early 2024. Video on Demand doesn't start until December 13, so it would be shocking if it were available earlier than January 13, a month from now.

My best guess. I think Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour will probably be released to coincide with her first tour dates in Japan in 2024. In other words, the release date for the streaming service could be Wednesday, February 7, the date of Taylor Swift's first Tokyo show.
