We are now too addicted to good television. Even if we have narrowed it down to one streaming service, how much time have we spent scrolling through endless titles and before we know it, we are staring at thumbnail images and not hitting the play button? Fortunately, we can save ourselves the trouble of searching for the next great show to watch.

These Netflix dramas may have slipped under your radar, but they're all fresh, with at least a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes; a few have only aired for one season (streamed together over the weekend can be done), and the longer ones can be savored slowly.

Who doesn't love a good heist? Inspired by the story of gentleman thief Arsène Lupin, "Lupin" does not disappoint. Part 1 begins with Assain Diop (Omar Sy) planning a heist inside the Louvre to frame the man who stole Marie Antoinette's pearl necklace and had her father arrested. It has the same sophisticated look and pacing as the film "Now You See Me," also directed by Louis Leterrier.

The show has three seasons and follows Diop as he steals his way around Paris. Like any good heist story, he dives into thievery as much as he scores; the latest, released in late 2023, scored a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

If you want to get lost in a dark and fantastic world, "The Magicians" should be on your list. Throughout its five seasons, you can immerse yourself in the world of Fillory, where 5% opium is in the air and magic always comes at a price. The entire series received a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, with seasons 3 and 5 receiving 100%.

Unlike the original books in the series, Magicians features a large ensemble cast, including Jason Ralph, Hale Applebaum, Summer Bishil, and Stella Maeve, who move between Fillory and Brakebill College of Magical Education. At its best, the show develops complex characters who lean toward gray morality and hate being put in a box.

If you liked "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," here's a show that scratches the same itch. Winona Earp takes place in American purgatory, where Winona works as a demon slayer to defeat the criminal Revenant, who has risen from the dead, and USA Today's Kelly Lawler writes that "Winona Earp" has "learned the right lesson from 'Buffy' about the fusion of the personal and the supernatural." She writes.

The series as a whole has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 92%, with seasons 2 and 3 jumping to 100%; all four seasons are available on Netflix.

In the words of the Globe and Mail, if you want to see something really "bonkers," this is the show. The show follows twins Sterling (Maddie Phillips) and Blair (Angelica Bette Ferrini), who live in Atlanta, attend a Christian high school, work at a yogurt pier during the day, and spend their nights bail money with fellow bounty hunter Bowser (Kadeem Hardison) The film depicts them taking people in.

It's a show with a voice that combines the bite of "Saved/Saved" with the "case of the week" of a regular cop drama. When the show went on the air in 2020, several media outlets, from Vulture to The New York Times, raved about it. Television critic Kathryn Van Arendonck lamented that the show ended too soon (the show only aired for one season).

"One Day at a Time" straddles the line between drama and comedy, addressing serious issues such as queerness, affirmative action, alcoholism, depression, and PTSD. The show is a remake of the 1975 original and follows Penelope (Justina Machado), a Cuban-American veteran raising two children with her mother (Rita Moreno).

"One Day at a Time," which earned a 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, was canceled in 2019 after three seasons on Netflix. However, PopTV, which also aired "Schitt's Creek," picked up the show for a final season, offering viewers some light relief amid the pandemic's beginning. The first three seasons are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
