Well, this could have gone more smoothly. This week, the likes of Asus, Dell, Lenovo and Microsoft have released a bunch of Copilot+ PC laptops. For the first time, these new machines will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus chipsets, using a Windows11Arm〜based architecture and deploying up to 40-45 TOPs in Npu (neural processing units) to help with advanced AI tasks such as Windows Studio effects.

However, it should not be expected to run any particular app or game, and Samsung revealed that the compatibility notice (first reported by the Wall Street Journal) does not work with the new Samsung Galaxy Book4Edge AI laptop, which also applies to other CoPilot+ Pcs. It states that even apps like Google Drive are not currently running on Samsung's new Copilot+PC laptop.

This isn't a good look for a new breed of PC that's just getting off the ground, but the app's image should improve soon. According to Samsung documents, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects do not run on CoPilot+ PCs. In addition, along with Kaspersky Anti-Virus, various Avast programs do not work. The good news is that, as previously reported by Windows Central, Microsoft is saying "Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and more are coming this summer."

Gamers with one eye on Copilot+Pc will find that popular video games such as the iconic Fortnite, strategy sensation League Of Legends and Microsoft's own Halo Infinite will not run on Samsung Galaxy Book4Edge AI and possibly all CoPilot+ Pcs.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Samsung will "ask app developers for improvements and check the app improvement schedule." The company claims that it will continue to provide updates by clicking on the link below.
