Prime Video has just added one of my favorite period dramas — and it's 93% on Rotten Tomatoes

Today (6/18), "Oppenheimer" celebrates the long-awaited appearance in Prime Video, 1 of the most acclaimed historical drama will be displayed directly on the screen. Not only that, but my colleagues at Toms Guide also rated it as the number one movie of 2023, calling it a "stunning biography" and I honestly agree.

Christopher Nolan's precise direction, combined with stunning cinematography and a powerful narrative, creates an immersive experience that explores the moral questions surrounding the use of nuclear weapons and their impact on humanity. As the world grapples with the creation of these destructive weapons, "Oppenheimer" offers an important reflection of the responsibility of scientific discovery.

If you are thinking of watching this movie or just want to experience it again, don't miss streaming it from the comfort of your home (and the best Su Here is rightfully earning its place among the best movies of 2023).

The film Oppenheimer is a biographical drama centered on the life of J. Theoretical physicist Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy), who played a major role in the development of atomic bombs during World War II, the film explores Oppenheimer's leadership of the Manhattan Project, which saw the creation and deployment of the first nuclear weapons.

It also focuses on his scientific achievements, ethical challenges, and the personal and political implications of his work, particularly the impact of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  Director Christopher Nolan did an excellent job in incorporating complex themes into the film, such as the moral responsibility of scientists and the effects of war.

"Oppenheimer" will of course feature incredible actors including Killian Murphy, along with other actors like Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Leslie Groves as Kitty Oppenheimer, and Florence Pugh as Jean Tatrok. It features a cast.

"Oppenheimer" is definitely worth watching, even if you are not interested in period dramas. Yes, the movie is 3 hours long, but believe me, when I say that time flies when you're really immersed in the story. Critics and audiences loved the film equally, considering that the film has a high score of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Sergio Burstein of the Los Angeles Times wrote, "What Nolan put before our eyes was Cillian Murphy's performance in the role of Oppenheimer in the role of Louis Strauss. Meanwhile, Kimber Myers of Crooked Marquee writes, "This is a complicated look at a complicated man, but Oppenheimer reveals that this is a story worth telling and Nolan is the best filmmaker to do it."

Rex Reid from the Observer also fully sums up "Oppenheimer": "This has intelligence, purpose and historical value." Two movies.

If the period is putting you off, know that every minute is worth it, and viewers don't seem to care too much about it either. Reviews of viewers include such comments as "Well done for the film for three hours" and "it moved at a nice pace."

Watching "Oppenheimer" in the theater was an incredibly memorable experience, and it was a film that remained in my thoughts for the next few days. Cinematography and sound design stood out to me, especially when tensions began to rise and I saw Oppenheimer fighting his moral compass. So I recommend it to everyone, especially since it is streamed on Prime Video.

If you're looking for a good movie to watch in the evenings or weekends, "Oppenheimer" would be my top choice. Otherwise, you can check out the top movies to stream on Prime video or dive into "The Boys" Season 4.

"Oppenheimer" is now available in Prime Video.
