"Alien" is one of my favorite movie franchises, so I had to include it 1. "Alien" is a sequel to Ridley Scott's "Alien" in 1979. The film follows Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver), the sole survivor of the first film, back to the planet where she first encounters a deadly alien creature known as Xenomorph. Accompanied by a team of tough Marines, Ripley must face not only the terrible Xenomorphs, but also their own agenda and corporate interests. And if you're very excited about the upcoming standalone film Alien: Romulus, it's worth seeing this franchise again. So why not hell.

Moving on to psychological fear, we have a "Babadook." The film revolves around a widow named Amelia (Essie Davis) and her young son Samuel (Noah Wiseman), who struggles to protect her son while facing her own inner demons as a mysterious po-terrifying existence titled Babadook becomes increasingly real. It's a cold, emotionally resonant horror experience that gives you goosebumps.

"Rosemary's Baby" is a classic psychological horror film that follows Rosemary Woodhouse (Mia Farrow), a young pregnant woman who becomes increasingly paranoid about the nature of her unborn child and the sinister intentions of her neighbors, especially the elderly couple living next door. As Rosemary's pregnancy progresses, she begins to suspect that a demon cult is plotting against her and her baby. 

The classic will always be such a huge part of the horror genre, especially "Rosemary's Baby", such a tension that it helped define the genre as a whole

"It follows" a young woman named Jay (Mica Monroe). Around a seemingly innocent sexual encounter after a relentless supernatural entity, an entity that can take the form of someone, always follows its goal at a slow walking pace, and the only way to delay its pursuit is to tell the curse to the other person through intercourse. As Jay and her friends try to find a way to escape the entity and understand its origins, they face increasing levels of fear and paranoia. It's a really creepy movie that makes you want to hide behind your hands.

Now we have the psychological horror thriller "Invisible Man". This film follows Cecilia Cass (Elisabeth Moss) escaping from her abusive and controlling boyfriend, Adrian Griffin (Oliver Jackson Cohen). After Adrian apparently commits suicide and leaves Cecilia on a significant portion of his estate, she begins to experience a series of disturbing events. Cecilia finds a way for Adrian to be invisible and becomes convinced that he is tormenting her from beyond the grave. As she tries to prove her suspicions to those around her, she faces increased danger and psychological manipulation. And when I say twists and turns are crazy, believe me.

The "nanny" focuses on Aisha (Anna Diop), a Senegalese immigrant hired to care for a couple's children in New York City When Aisha is working to make enough money to take her son to the United States, she threatens her job and her dreams. You will begin to experience a series of unsettling supernatural events. Aisha's reality turned out to be increasingly distorted, blurring the line between her traumatic past and present. "Nanny" actually received critical acclaim for its creepy storytelling, powerful performance, and unique approach to the horror genre.

"The Wicker Man" follows Sergeant Neil Howie (played by Edward Woodward), a devout Christian police officer who travels to Samarisle Island, Scotland, to investigate the disappearance of a young girl named Rowan Morrison (Jerry Cowper).

As Howie delves into the case, he realizes that the inhabitants of the island are practicing a Celtic pagan form led by the charismatic Lord Summeris (Christopher Lee), who denies the existence of the missing girl, and their actions become increasingly strange and unsettling. Howie reveals that the islanders engaged in ancient fertility rituals and rowan may have been intended as a human sacrifice to ensure a rich harvest It is said to be one of the best films about the cult.
