The Lenovo L32P-30 (ド499) is a 31.5-inch 4K monitor that offers a great large canvas to get things done.

With its colorful screen and HDR support, this is a solid choice for those looking for a big 4K monitor on watching movies, browsing the web and doing creative work, while the 60Hz refresh rate limits the appeal of this display to game fans, AMD FreeSync support for the L32P-30 does not. It is great and helps to run the game smoothly.

There's nothing earth-shattering about this display, but it's one of the best monitors on the market for anyone seeking a 4K workhorse to get things done thanks to its relatively affordable price.

The Lenovo L32P-30 can be purchased now from Lenovo with an MSRP of MS499, but is not sold much at participating retailers.

This is one of the lowest prices I've seen on a 32-inch 4K monitor yet, so it's good to report that this display doesn't look or cheap

I really like the design of the Lenovo L32P-30 monitor because it's simple, easy to understand and easy to set up. It's a good idea.

Once you open the box, it is not difficult to understand how to assemble the display. The base comes in 2 parts screwed together and once it is finished simply slide the display into it and tighten the 2nd screw at the rear of the display to hold it.

When it is done, the monitor will be ready to use. It has a nice thin bezel along either side and top and has a thick bezel along the bottom lip. The buttons you use to control the display are lined up in neat rows along the bottom right edge.

I like how simple and sturdy the base plate of the Lenovo L32P-30 is and it has a little cutout that proved the perfect size to hide my phone when I sit at my desk.

When mounted on the stand, it can be tilted back and forth within a span of about 25 degrees, and when mounted on the monitor arm, it supports a conventional 100x100mm VESA mount

If you are looking for a port, you can mount it all downwards and along the lower lip of the monitor. So great that it is to have them all side by side in one place pointing down for visually appealing cable management, I hate to crane my neck under the display every time I fiddle with the cables.

That said, the Lenovo L32P-30 has a decent port array. In addition to USB-C (which supplies up to 75W to charge the device), the DisplayPort1.2 and HDMI2.0 ports to output to the display also feature 2 USB-A ports to help make the monitor 2x as a hub and an audio out jack if you want to connect the speakers to the display.It has its own built-in pair to boot.

In my tests, the pair of 32W speakers built into the L3P-30 isn't exactly loud, but it's nice to have when you just want to hear something on your PC and you don't want (or can't) connect an external speaker.

This monitor does not include a built-in webcam, but it works well with the Lenovo LC50 webcam (ド39), which is sold separately.

The Lenovo L32P-30's 31.5-inch 4K screen is large and colorful, and when you sit on a PC as your main display, you feel like you're sitting in front of a beautiful canvas.

When we put it in the test lab and pointed to the Klein10-a colorimeter, we found that the Lenovo L32P-30 did a solid job of accurately reproducing colors. There are also quite a few options for how to display those colors.

First, you can turn HDR (high dynamic range) on/off, or switch between HDR games, HDR movies, HDR photos, pure HDR, and HDR off. Turning HDR off gives you more control over brightness and contrast, but you won't be able to see more of the HDR content.

When HDR is turned off, it can replace 5 different scenario modes: Panel Native (default), image creation, digital cinema, video creation and low blue light mode. We tested it to see how to change the characteristics of the display.

As can be seen from the above results, this display will be the brightest in the default panel native mode, achieving a brightness of 232.2nit at that point, with 145.3% of the sRGB gamut and 102.9% of the DCI-P3 gamut (100% is the most accurate, usually meaning more saturated colors). Achieve, and the Delta-E score will be 0.34 (the closer to 0, the better).

This is excellent color accuracy for monitors of this size and price, and as you can see from the results, the L32P-30 beats Lenovo's advertised 90% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, with more than half of the modes including the default.

Indeed, the brightness score of this monitor is lower than most monitors and laptop screens we measure. Still, in fact, I don't think you care about the brightness of this display, but in fact, I think that a brighter screen often makes eye fatigue faster. Compared to similar displays, the Lenovo L32P-30 is comparable to the color accuracy of the acer Predator XB323QK4K gaming monitor, but about half as bright. Of course, even though its Acer Predator4K display is the same size, it costs 2 times more than this Lenovo because of its extra brightness

Maybe I'm just sitting too close to my monitor, but the size and fidelity of the Lenovo L32P-30 is really a sweet spot for me. Hit the pot.

In the actual test we had the opportunity to use it for work, play, and everything in between, so we recommend this monitor for watching videos, finishing work, or playing games in 4K.With a limited refresh rate of 60Hz, it's not very ideal for high frame rate actions, but if you don't care about the number of frames per 1 second, this is a beautiful screen to play the game on. Thanks to the display's HDR10 support, HDR content also looks great.

I pretty much watched the movie and worked beyond the spread of the L32P-30, which can be further customized by downloading lenovo's Artery display software

Playing games on this canvas is also a fun effort and the refresh rate is a bit limited. I feel like I'm in the middle of something, but I can't play my favorite game with this vast pixel and enjoy it.

The Lenovo L32P-30's interface is fun, simple and easy to understand. Navigate using the 4 buttons next to the (slightly larger) power button in the lower right corner.

You can call the OSD (on-screen display) by pressing the main menu button (next to the power button), but pressing another button (down arrow) will bring up the input menu, allowing you to quickly switch between display inputs.

The OSD itself is small, easy to read and navigate. You can use this menu to switch display modes, customize specific settings such as brightness and contrast, change volume settings, and more. This is also where you can enable or disable AMD FreeSync support, AMD's adaptive sync technology. This basically means it works on a PC to time sending images from the GPU to the monitor, and since everything is in sync, it helps to eliminate the problem of visual tearing when playing games at high frame rates. I like the Lenovo L32P-30 because it offers solid 4K performance for underー500 with a simple, understated design. Owning a decent 4K display can remind you of an era when it costs thousands by default, but now you can confidently say that day.

The Lenovo L32P-30 can't compete with the best game monitors on the market in terms of flashy features and high refresh rates, so if you plan to play cyber Punk2077 or Rocket League with a new display at a scorching frame rate, you'll have to choose something else. However, if you need a high-quality 32-inch 4K HDR display, the Lenovo L32P-30 is the best choice. I can just buy myself the next time they go on sale.
