Next year, LG's OLED TVs will evolve further.

LG's OLED TVs are set to impress next year, and prior to CES 2024, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) presented a number of innovation awards specifically for LG's OLED TV category.

Although the official family of LG OLED TV 2024 has not yet been announced, it received 12 innovation awards. This suggests that there are exciting updates planned for the best TVs each year, and in January the Tom's Guide team will be in Las Vegas for CES 2024 to investigate firsthand why LG's TVs have received such recognition.

We expect LG to launch follow-up models to the two best sets that appeared on our test bench in 2023, the LG C3 OLED TV and the LG G3 OLED TV. The G3 in particular blew us away with its high brightness and outstanding contrast. Nevertheless, we expect the LG C4 OLED TV and the LG G4 OLED TV (whether this is the official name or not remains to be seen) to be among the most anticipated TVs next year.

LG may be planning a refresh of the LG M3 OLED TV in 2024 The LG M3 is a wireless OLED TV that offloads input controls to a receiver box for a more minimal entertainment setup The M3 is a futuristic TV experience, but its limited screen size and high price point pose hurdles to mass adoption.

Wireless TV technology is certainly something that would be honored at the CES Innovation Awards, but there are several other possibilities for LG's OLED TV to be honored. Interface features, display improvements, and audio upgrades could all be award-worthy.

We will consider these factors when looking at the TVs presented at CES 2024 to determine our own award winners. We expect some of the best TV brands to bring new TVs to CES and would not be surprised if others set the bar high.

Details on LG's CES 2024 Innovation Award-winning TVs and TV features will be announced on January 7, 2024.
