MacBook Air M3 and iPad Pro 2024 Launch Appears imminent Apple updates "Unannounced Products" document

Apple is expected to revamp its entire iPad lineup and release a MacBook Air laptop with M3 this year. No official announcement has been made yet, but rumors have been circulating for months. And now a new rumor has been released indicating the imminent release of the new iPad and MacBook Air.

MacRumors reports that Apple has just updated its internal support documentation for "unannounced or unreleased products." The document in question is intended to advise customers with questions about products that have not yet been released how Apple's support team should respond.

It is unclear why Apple updated this document today (February 27). However, given the persistent rumors about a possible new iPad and MacBook Air, it is not unreasonable to assume that these "unannounced products" could be related to Apple's anticipated tablet or laptop.

In a previous PowerOn newsletter, Bloomberg reporter and Apple informant Mark Garman claimed that the new iPad would ship in spring 2024. According to his source, Apple wants to unveil the revamped iPad line before the WWDC event, which usually takes place in June. If true, the new iPads could appear between late March and late May. This timeline lends credence to today's report.

In another report, Garman stated that MacBook Air laptops with the Apple M3 chip could appear in the spring or summer of 2024. However, these new MacBook Air devices will continue to be offered in 13- and 15-inch models, so there will be no new size options. Still, the arrival of the more powerful MacBook Air laptops is exciting to anticipate, as they are the best MacBooks for those who need a lightweight, long-lasting ultra-portable for on-the-go work.

Again, everything we've told you above is based on rumors and unofficial reports, so it's best to take it all with a grain of salt.

While there is no official word on the new iPad and the M3 MacBook Air, all of the best iPads available today are powered by Apple's M2 chip, which is nearly two years old at best, so Apple will not delay another year by releasing a new iPad I am confident that they will. And given the popularity of the MacBook Air line, there is bound to be updated models of those as well.

As WWDC approaches, there will be more coverage of the 2024 iPad and MacBook Air. Stay tuned for new developments.
