Since Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Ring at the last Galaxy Unpacked event on May 1, the company has maintained a pretty mom on the device. This is despite the fact that we are actually looking at the upcoming device at MWC2024. 

Most of the information we have comes from leaks and rumors, and that up-to-date information ultimately provides an idea of the potential price of the Samsung Galaxy Ring. 

leaker Yogesh Brar, shared by android Police, posted on x that the price would be between between300 and 3 350. This is consistent with previous conjectures, which directly competes the ring of the galaxy with the Oura Ring and the Ring Air of the Ultrahuman. 

Brar did not post this information on the X, but apparently told Android Police that Samsung is considering a subscription model of the Galaxy ring coming under the under10 in the US market. 

It's annoying, but not surprising. The Oura Ring Gen3 offers a subscription service of月額5.99 per month or yearly69.99 per year. Many of the features of Oura Ring are paywalled behind the subscription. 

The first two generations of Oura Ring did not feature a subscription service, but one was added for the third. Competitors like Ultrahuman and Circular Pro1 don't have subscriptions, at least for now.

Currently, Oura dominates the ring market, so it's no surprise that Samsung may turn to Oura's efforts to determine the path of the galaxy ring.

As the Android Police has pointed out, Dr. Lee, Samsung VP and head of the Digital Health team. Hon Pak told CNBC that the South Korean company is considering a subscription service for the Samsung Health app, which is in line with the ring. 

It would not be surprising if its subscription10 or lower subscriptions offered new features for multiple Samsung devices. 

This year has been the year of AI for almost all tech companies. It wouldn't be surprising if Samsung announced some kind of AI feature on the Galaxy Ring, especially with all the AI updates Google is offering to the AI and Gemini apps. However, Samsung has its own ai iteration on its Galaxy system.

As mentioned earlier, we haven't received much new information about the device from Samsung since the initial announcement. However, Samsung expects to announce more on 7/10 during the company's next Galaxy Unpacked.
