Netflix has added my favorite horror franchise so far — and it's already in the top 10

When it comes to the horror franchise, few have managed to captivate audiences as much as the "The Conjuring" series. Known for its truly unsettling stories, which are based on real paranormal encounters, this franchise has become a staple for horror fans around the world, including me.

Netflix has just added 3 "magic tricks" movies to its library, so if you want to challenge this franchise, you're in luck. This means you can experience all the creepy investigations and terrifying twists from the comfort of your own home. The movie is seriously scary, so you will definitely need its comfort.

In addition, one of the movies has already crashed the Netflix top 10.This proves the franchise's ability to continuously draw in viewers. Whether you're revisiting these scary movies or watching them for the first time, this is an incredibly popular horror franchise to immerse yourself in.

So there's a deeper understanding of the plot of these movies and why it's worth watching binge on the best streaming platforms. Let's dig deeper.

"The Conjuring" movie is based on the real-life case of paranormal investigator Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga). And yes, again, all 3 films are based on real events that this couple has experienced.

The first "Conjuring" was released in 2013 and is my favorite horror film to date. Ed and Lorraine are investigating something unforgettable at the Peron family farmhouse in Rhode Island. The family experiences an incredibly disturbing event, and Warrens discovers that the house is cursed by a malicious spirit.

The second film "The Conjuring2" was released three years later and focuses on a British single mother and her four children. Warren travels to their home, but only realizes that this poor family is being harassed by an evil entity. The case, known as the Enfield Poltergeist, became one of their most challenging investigations.1

The latest release, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, was released in 2021. It explores a strange trial in which a man claimed possession of a demon as a defense for committing murder. Warrens works to uncover the truth behind this claim and confront the evil forces responsible for terrible events. "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It" crashed the Netflix top 10 and is currently ranked 9th. Especially with movies like "Madame Web" and "Shrek" running out of steam, there's no doubt that they're going to rock the list in the next few days. I really think this horror film deserves to stand on the podium.

While Director James Wan directed the first two installments, Michael Chavez took over for "The Devil Made Me Do It" and was able to replicate One's style to great effect. However, Wan is a franchise builder and has created a ripe world for further exploration while offering a high standard of filmmaking.

The "Conjuring" universe has since expanded to include spin-offs such as "Annabelle" and "The Nun" and explores various aspects of Warrens' case files. By keeping the content fresh and providing fans with new entry points, the franchise has continued for the past 11 years.

If you're a fan of "The Conjuring," it'll be nice to know it's not over yet. "The Conjuring4" is confirmed to occur in 2022/10, and filming seems to start this summer. It looks like Wilson and Farmiga are most likely to reenact their roles as Warrens at the end.

The "The Conjuring" movie is worth watching for its unique blend of authenticity and horror. Each entry offers powerful storytelling that combines suspense and mystery, and realistic characters that keep you emotionally invested. James Wan and Michael Chaves do an excellent job of ensuring that each movie provides a high standard of horror experience.

I remember watching these movies in theaters and thinking: "I've never felt this tension before in my life.""Of course, not everyone loves horror, but I think these films are worth watching, even those who do not dig too much into this genre. There were enough memorable scenes to win even horror skeptics, and "The Conjuring" cemented that film's legacy.

I want more. Watch these worthy movies on Netflix's top 10 or stream all 3 "magic Tricks" movies on Netflix right now.
