Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, the brand's upcoming premium wearable, Samsung straight with the Apple Watch Ultra series it starts with the Apple800

This information comes from a report previously published by 91mobiles. In addition to the expected launch price of the Galaxy Watch Ultra, thanks to images shared by renowned leaker Tim Tom O and first reported by 9to5Google, the possible design of the device

Love it or hate it, the Galaxy Watch Ultra looks like the device above, especially with a round screen built into a square-like case. And while it looks a bit chunky, I actually like the overall aesthetic. In fact, it reminds me a little of an IWC Andreas Hoover mechanical watch, except that it doesn't costド10,000.

Along the right side of the case, there appears to be a trio of buttons, but the orange one in the middle could actually be a crown. If that's the case, it looks a little smaller.

The leaked image reveals 2 color schemes, black and gray shown above, as well as silver and white options. It is unclear what material they are made of, but titanium is a good guess. Both seem to be attached to rubber sports-style straps as well. 

The report on 91mobiles also shows that the Galaxy Watch Ultra has a 47mm case size and possibly a 590mah battery, which is a bit larger than the 564mah battery currently found on the apple Watch Ultra. In addition, the new Samsung expects to boast a sapphire crystal display with a brightness of up to 3,000 nit. 

Further rumors suggest that the Galaxy Watch Ultra will also boast water resistance of at least 100 meters, match the Apple Watch Ultra and may be rated at least IP68 against dust and moisture.

The price tag on the Galaxy Y700 will make the Galaxy Watch Ultra significantly more expensive than the previous Samsung smartwatch. Currently, the 47mm Samsung Galaxy Watch6Classic is the brand's most expensive wearable atン479. 

With the launch of the launch199Samsung Galaxy Watch FE last week, Samsung seems to be approaching the smartwatch space with a bit of something for everyone, regardless of budget. But while the more affordable entry-level model makes very much sense, the success of the high-end model feels like a sure bet. 

Does the Galaxy Watch Ultra guarantee its high cost and provide enough bells and whistles to captivate the Samsung faithful? The rumored Samsung Unpacked event was announced on May 7, and you could know for sure. 

Beyond that, the question is how well it stacks up against the upcoming Apple Watch Ultra3. Time will tell.
